eXalt Belgium is seeking a Business Analyst specialized in Energy & Utilities to bridge business and IT teams and drive high-impact projects in a sector undergoing rapid transformation.

You will gather requirements from the field, model processes, analyze data to identify root causes, map improvements, and collaborate with IT to deliver technology solutions that meet business goals, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and active participation in testing through go-live.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in the Energy & Utilities industry.
• Solid understanding of the Belgian energy market, regulatory framework, and energy transition.

Responsabilités

• Gather business requirements directly from the field, via interviews, workshops, and user stories.
• Use data to understand business processes and trace issues to root causes.
• Map existing processes to identify optimization opportunities.
• Work with IT teams to build technology solutions aligned with business goals.
• Bridge the gap between stakeholders to ensure buy-in for proposed solutions.
• Contribute to testing and validation phases through go-live.
