Nexeo in Brussels seeks a Functional Analyst to join the Energy Management & Power IS team of a leading energy client. You will design, document and support business-critical applications for power asset portfolio management and energy trading.

You will collaborate with business users, traders and IT teams to translate complex requirements into reliable IT solutions across thermal, nuclear, renewable energies and battery storage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Functional Analyst or related roles.
• Strong experience translating complex requirements into functional solutions.
• Hands-on with energy trading, energy commodities or related markets is preferred.
• Proactive problem solving across IT and business environments.
• Excellent communication with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Identify, analyze and document business and functional requirements for power asset portfolio management and trading.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and test cases.
• Ensure software developments implement defined business requirements.
• Design and execute functional and regression test scenarios.
• Provide first-line user support and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure and Helpdesk on application topics.
• Develop knowledge of power markets and energy commodities trading.
