Job summary

Jobat is seeking a Project Calculator to translate technical information into feasible, well-founded bids. You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, suppliers and subcontractors and have clear opportunities to grow towards a Project Manager role.

The position involves preparing tender dossiers, calculating costs, and presenting competitive proposals with transparent margins. You will maintain client relationships, attend project reviews, and ensure timely submissions while

Responsibilities

• Coordinating tender dossiers from request to submission, with attention to deadlines, completeness and quality.
• Calculating hours, materials, capacity and total cost based on plans, technical documents and supplier quotes.
• Requesting prices from suppliers and subcontractors and comparing proposals.
• Liaising with Project Managers and Project Engineers to draft bids with healthy margins and clear agreements.
• Developing technical and commercial parts of bids, such as product sheets, technical descriptions, prices and schedules.
• Maintaining contact with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and colleagues on site and on the yard.
• Visiting clients and participating in meetings to understand their needs.
• Gradually taking more responsibility with the aim of advancing to Project Manager.
