Steve Skills | Niche Recruitment Agency in Brussels is seeking a lawyer to join its newly established Employment Law department. You will handle Belgian and international employment matters, advising on individual and collective issues and contributing to case work across advisory and litigation files.

You will work closely with Counsel in a growing, entrepreneurial team, serving a diverse client base in a flexible, people-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Belgian Social and Employment Law.
• Interest in both individual and collective employment law.
• Fluency in Dutch or French is essential.

Responsabilités

Your function

Our client is a rapidly growing boutique law firm located in Brussels. The firm recently established a new Employment Law department under the leadership of a highly regarded Counsel, creating an entrepreneurial environment with a strong base of clients and significant room for further development.

As part of this growing practice, you will work on a broad range of Belgian and international Employment Law matters:

• Advise international clients on a broad range of individual employment law matters
• Assist clients with collective employment law matters and related processes
• Work on both advisory and litigation files
• Handle varied and challenging matters across different sectors, including Media and Pharma
• Work closely with the Counsel and contribute to the further development of the Employment Law practice
• Build strong relationships with an international and diverse client base
• Take initiative and contribute to the entrepreneurial development of the department
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in a flexible and approachable working environment

Your profile

• Previous professional experience in Belgian Social and Employment Law
• Strong interest in both individual and collective employment law
• Excellent command of Dutch, whether Dutch-speaking or French-speaking
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and eager to contribute to the development of a growing practice
• Collaborative and people-oriented approach
