Job summary

White & Case in Brussels seeks a junior Associate focused on Commercial Litigation to join our Brussels office. You will help draft pleadings, perform legal research, and support trial preparation while coordinating with colleagues across our global network.

You will contribute to cross-border disputes, develop strong drafting and analytical skills, and work in a collaborative environment with partners and junior lawyers. Fluency in French and English is essential; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity.
• Qualified, or eligible to qualify, at the Brussels Bar.
• Internship experience in top law firms.
• Fluency in French and English with Dutch as a plus.
• Commercial and business awareness.
• Excellent drafting skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review extensive pleadings in complex disputes.
• Organize and support court representation from filing to conclusion.
• Research legal and economic issues relevant to cases.
• Draft filings addressed to courts and authorities.
• Assist senior lawyers on day-to-day legal services for international clients.
