Google is seeking a Regulatory Counsel, Content, to join a global team focused on the EMEA region. You will interpret laws, partner with internal stakeholders to mitigate risk, and communicate compliance externally. The role emphasizes regulating content in a changing economy and engaging with regulators, academics, and others.

Belgium-based position with a focus on ensuring responsible innovation and adherence to laws across global operations, equity, and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the bar in an EU member state and in good standing.
• 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
• Experience with EU level content regulation (e.g., DSA, AVMSD, FEAM).

Responsabilités

• Shape laws and interpret compliance obligations for Compliance, Business, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Provide legal advice on compliance programs and policies to mitigate risk.
• Manage government and regulator discussions, negotiations, and disclosures on compliance readiness.
