Dalemans is seeking an Embedded Software Developer to strengthen its R&D team and advance gas detection solutions. You will join a multidisciplinary group and contribute to software on ARM microcontrollers using C, with PC tools for configuration and testing.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and adherence to safety standards, while offering a stable, growing family-owned environment and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of embedded programming experience, preferably on ARM microcontrollers.
• Proficient in C and Python; C++/C# a plus.
• Experience with FreeRTOS or bare metal environments.
• Ability to develop PC tools for configuration/testing and understand hardware interfaces.
• Knowledge of CAN/Modbus buses and functional safety considerations.
• Familiarity with Atlassian suite and version control workflows.
• French language with strong English comprehension.

Responsabilités

• Develop embedded software in C for ARM MCUs and improve gas detection systems.
• Create PC tools to configure and update devices.
• Manage version control (Git) and deployment processes.
• Develop and execute embedded software validation tests.
• Diagnose and fix user-reported issues and document solutions.
• Produce technical documentation: software architecture and specs.
• Perform technology watch to stay current.
