Amaris Consulting in Antwerp is seeking an embedded systems engineer to design electronic boards, PCBs and embedded software for real-time measurement in compressor studies. You will split time between on-site work and laboratory research to deliver robust hardware and software solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in electronics, mechatronics, or physics (PhD a plus) with fluent English and strong teamwork skills. Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics, mechatronics, or physics (PhD or 2-3 years)
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages
• Strong PCB design skills
• Ability to manage priorities between site and laboratory work
• Fluent English; Dutch a plus

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define and prioritize measurement requirements for new projects
• Split work between on-site activities and laboratory research
• Design and architect electronic components and PCBs for integration into measurement devices
• Develop embedded software (C/C++) for real-time data acquisition and processing
• Analyze and study physical parameters to optimize measurement accuracy and reliability
