NXP Semiconductors in Belgium is seeking a talented AI security researcher to push the boundaries of secure AI for edge devices. You will explore model protection, adversarial AI, privacy-preserving ML, and TEEs while aligning with automotive, industrial, and IoT applications used daily by millions.

The role welcomes candidates who recently completed a PhD, Postdoc, or exceptional AI-focused Master’s degree and who enjoy turning research ideas into working prototypes in collaboration with AI,

Qualifications

• PhD/Postdoc or exceptional Master's in AI, ML, CS or related field.
• Strong research background in AI security topics.
• Ability to translate research into prototypes for real products.

What We're Looking For

You have recently completed (or are close to completing):

• A PhD, Postdoc, or exceptional Master's degree in AI, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Cryptography, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Ideally, You Bring Experience In Some Of The Following

• AI / Machine Learning
• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Deep Learning
• Adversarial Machine Learning
• AI Security
• Privacy-Preserving AI
• Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs)
• PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX or similar frameworks
• Python and experimental prototyping

Most importantly, you're passionate about AI and excited about applying it to real-world products.
