Axiles Bionics, a Brussels-based company, is seeking a Software AI Engineer to bridge advanced AI and real-time hardware for prosthetic devices. You will design, train, and embed adaptive AI policies, reporting to the CTO within R&D, and work with mechanical, electronics, and QA engineers to bring innovations from simulation to patients worldwide.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in CS/Engineering/Math/Robotics or equivalent.
• 4 years of professional ML/Software Engineering experience.
• Experience with sensor data, ideally inertial sensors.
• Able to write maintainable, testable, robust code.
• Some RL experience and embedded systems knowledge is a plus.
• Autonomous, multidisciplinary problem solver.

Responsabilités

• Analyze data to drive ML model development.
• Design ML models to embed in prosthetic devices.
• Develop end-to-end AI model development infrastructure.
• Create software tools for AI development.
• Collaborate with embedded engineers to ensure on-device integration.
• Write embedded software to run AI models on-device.
