ScioTeq BV in Kortrijk, Belgium, is seeking an Electronics Engineer for avionics hardware R&D. You will develop mixed analog and digital electronics, including embedded designs, for cockpit displays and related systems.

The role covers all development stages, from requirements to verification, and requires DO-254 quality processes and strong teamwork. Fluency in English is required.

• Master’s degree in electronics or engineering.
• Experience with embedded systems and electronic design.

Responsabilités

• Develop mixed analog and digital electronics including embedded electronics design.
• Cover all development phases from requirements through product delivery including concept, design, analysis and test.
• Collaborate closely with project team to realize the product.
• Report to the R&D Manager Hardware.

As a member of the Avionics Hardware R&D team, you will contribute to the development of display and computer systems, which are integrated in the cockpit of aircraft and helicopters. Electronics is an important element in the operation of the system, for which correctness and safety are the highest priorities.

For our customers in the Aviation industry (Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Comac, …) we develop and produce in Kortrijk the next generation Cockpits with Visualisation and Human Interface Solutions: Smart Displays, Video displays, Touchscreens, ….

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the development of mixed analog and digital electronics including embedded electronics design.
• You cover all phases of the development: from requirements definition to product delivery including concept, design, analysis and test. Accuracy, quality and safety are the main objectives in your development work.
• You work intensely together with other members of the project team to realize the product.
• You will report to the R&D Manager Hardware.

Profile

• You hold a Master’s degree in electronics or engineering.
• You have knowledge of and experience with embedded systems, electronic design.
• You are quality oriented: we follow development processes (DO- 254) which enables us to deliver to the aerospace industry worldwide.
• You are a teamplayer.
• You are fluent in English.
