Job summary

Actief Interim is seeking an Electromechanic & Technical Handyman for an industrial site in Louvain-la-Neuve. The role is split 50/50 between Electromechanical Maintenance and Technical Handyman & Facility Maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure safety and proper functioning of all equipment and facilities.

Qualifications

• Monitor equipment and identify faults.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems and root causes.
• Carry out repairs and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Check proper functioning of machines and installations.
• Inspect wiring and carry out troubleshooting as needed.
• Identify improvements to increase reliability and performance.
• Follow safety, quality and hygiene procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work throughout the company.
• Perform painting, minor renovation and finishing work.
• Repair and maintain gates, doors and other infrastructure.
• Handle minor electrical, mechanical and technical repairs within your scope.
• Identify maintenance needs and take corrective actions.
• Ensure buildings and work areas remain safe and well maintained.
• Support the team with various practical maintenance tasks as required.
