Job summary

Meerab Group is seeking a SIEM Security Engineer to build and operate our Elastic Security platform, delivering actionable security insights across cloud environments. You will design, configure, and optimize the Elastic SIEM stack to collect, correlate, and analyze security events.

You will integrate threat feeds, perform upgrades, and support incident response, with strong scripting in Python and ES/QL. Collaboration with security and IT teams is essential to maintain scalable, reliable

Qualifications

Experience as a security engineer focusing on SIEM and Elastic stack.
Strong expertise in Elastic Search including indexing, querying, and visualization.
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python or ES/QL for automation.
Experience integrating logs in cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in incident response scenarios.

Responsibilities

Design, manage, configure, and optimize the Elastic Security (SIEM) platform to collect and correlate security event data.
Collaborate with the team to create and maintain security solutions based on Elastic Search.
Integrate threat intelligence feeds into SIEM and Elastic Search for proactive threat hunting.
Perform regular platform upgrades ensuring scalability and reliability.
Monitor security logs, alerts, and reports to identify issues and anomalies in cloud environments.
Use Elastic Search to index and search security-related data for analysis and reporting.
