Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking an EH&S Staff Expert Project Safety for our Geel, Belgium site. You will coordinate EH&S design aspects for API capacity projects and advise the project team on safety policies and practices across a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

The role requires technical background, prevention advisor certification, and the ability to drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Technical bachelor or equivalent through experience.
• Prevention advisor level 1 or 2.
• Experience in EH&S in a highly regulated industrial context.
• Experience in EH&S Commissioning and Qualification in bigger investment projects.
• Comfort engaging with the technical aspects of PSM.
• Enjoys working independently and with diverse teams.
• Able to interact with people at all levels within a large organization.
• Able to plan tasks in advance and take initiative.

Responsabilités

• Guide EH&S policy across API Capacity Project stages at Geel site.
• Advise on process safety, personnel safety and environmental issues during design reviews.
• Coordinate and supervise EH&S support to the project.
• Handle commissioning administration for new or modified equipment.
• Support project teams in risk assessments (HAZOP, Machine Safety, JSA).
• Be first point of contact for EH&S questions and investigations.
• Promote continuous improvement of EH&S processes.
• Participate in on-call system for emergency planning.
• Advise project team on operational EH&S topics during construction.
