The assignment with HumanInTech in Brussels seeks an experienced professional to manage licensing agreements and content integration for a Belgian evidence-based point-of-care platform. You will negotiate rights, onboard providers via APIs, and apply metadata governance to support interoperability and AI usage.

Fluency in English is required, with passive Dutch and French knowledge. The role is a hybrid full-time engagement from Oct 2026 to Jan 2027, freelance or employee.

What you will do

You will be responsible for content licensing and integration for a national evidence-based point-of-care platform designed to provide Belgian healthcare professionals with trusted, up-to-dated and evidence-based information tailored to the Belgian healthcare context.

Your responsibilities include:

• Negotiating and managing licensing agreements with international scientific publishers
• Negotiating rights related to redistribution, translation, contextualisation and AI usage
• Assessing content integration models and publisher technical capabilities
• Onboarding and integrating content providers through APIs and metadata standards
• Collaborating with international scientific publishers to ensure seamless content delivery
• Applying knowledge of metadata governance and content interoperability principles

The platform combines the development of a central knowledge database with the integration of data onboarding standards for ingesting Belgian and international evidence-based content, interoperability standards, artificial intelligence, content governance and stakeholder engagement.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience negotiating and managing licensing agreements with international scientific publishers

• Experience onboarding and integrating content providers through APIs and metadata standards
• Experience with evidence-based knowledge platforms and point-of-care information services
• Experience collaborating with international scientific publishers
• Ability to assess content integration models and publisher technical capabilities
• Knowledge of metadata governance and content interoperability principles
• Understanding of healthcare classifications including SNOMED CT, ICD, ICPC and HL7 FHIR
• Active knowledge of English
• Passive knowledge of Dutch and French

The setting

This assignment runs from early October 2026 to early January 2027, with the possibility of renewal. You will work in a hybrid setting in Brussels. You will be part of a team of four specialists working on the platform, including a product owner, a full-stack architect and a full-stack developer.
