Catalay seeks an experienced E&I Lead for a Turnhout project to drive the E&I package from Basic Engineering through procurement, installation and commissioning. You will coordinate the electrical supply and instrumentation for the new equipment and manage interfaces with the Client, vendors, the DCS and other disciplines.

The role requires a Senior E&I Engineer with 10+ years in heavy-industry brownfield projects, expert knowledge of MV/LV systems, DCS/PLC interfaces, ESD and Belgian/IEC

Qualifications

• Senior E&I engineer with 10+ years in heavy-industry brownfield projects.
• Strong expertise in MV/LV systems, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, protection and power-system studies.
• Experience with instrumentation, DCS/PLC interfaces, ESD systems and vendor-package integration.
• Knowledge of field installations: cabling, cable trays, lighting, earthing and lightning protection.
• Ability to resolve E&I/structural clashes and develop temporary and permanent solutions.
• Experience with shutdown sequencing, continuity of operations and commissioning.
• Proficiency in specifications, RFQs, bid evaluations, MTOs, FAT/SAT and Belgian/IEC standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead the E&I package from Basic Engineering to procurement, installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate the electrical supply and instrumentation for the new equipment.
• Define modifications, relocations and demolition of existing E&I installations affected by the works.
• Develop permanent and temporary solutions to maintain safe operations between shutdown windows.
• Manage interfaces with Client, suppliers, the DCS, other disciplines and the existing installations.
