Catalay is seeking a Site Engineer to support operations at power plant projects in Belgium. You will interface between the client, back office and contractors, supervise construction activities, and ensure adherence to erection drawings and QA/QC requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Master in civil/structural engineering with industrial project experience, fluent in Dutch and either French or English, and brings relevant certifications such as FANC habilitation, VCA-VOL, BA4.

Qualifications

Master degree in civil/structural engineering.
Relevant professional experience in an engineering or contractor environment, including design assignments and erection follow-up.
Fluency in Dutch, and either French or English; communicate facts concisely and effectively.
Additional certifications: FANC habilitation, VCA-VOL, BA4.

Responsabilités

Site operations support for power plants, including maintenance and new builds.
Interface between back office, Client and Contractors for project execution.
Inspect Contractors’ activities for compliance with drawings and erection methodology.
Verify QA/QC requirements and manage technical interfaces between Contractors.
Follow up main design modifications and document progress.
Participate in stakeholder meetings (progress, interfaces, HSE).
Draft work orders and site orders; issue notes on execution and shortcomings.
Continuously exchange information on developments in work and studies.
