Description du poste

A leading European manufacturer in technical textiles, with a long-standing tradition and strong industrial expertise, is further strengthening its operations in West Belgium and internationally.

The company develops and produces high-quality technical textile solutions for protective apparel, workwear, and specialized industrial applications. Through its fully integrated production model – from raw materials to finished goods – the organisation ensures quality, traceability, and strict compliance with international standards.

ITZU Executive Search has been mandated to recruit a Director Process & Management Systems, a key leadership role responsible for strengthening process governance, compliance, and operational excellence across the organisation.

Job Description

This is a high-impact leadership role focused on process ownership, management systems, and operational compliance excellence.

The Director will define, structure, and continuously improve the company’s process and management system framework across spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing operations.

While innovation and external collaboration remain part of the broader ecosystem, the core priority of the role is ensuring robust, auditable, and well-documented process management across the organisation.

The role ensures that internal processes are clearly defined, maintained, and aligned with ISO standards, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations.

The Director will act as the central reference for process governance, documentation quality, and compliance readiness, working closely with technical and sustainability teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, implement, and maintain robust process management systems aligned with operational, quality, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure full ISO and audit readiness, including documentation accuracy and continuous improvement of internal procedures.
  • Own and structure process documentation, ensuring clarity, consistency, and traceability across production steps.
  • Review and validate technical and operational documentation produced by internal teams.
  • Collaborate with sustainability and technical teams to ensure reliable data for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and reporting.
  • Act as key stakeholder in regulatory compliance (chemical, environmental, industrial standards), including PFAS-related documentation and justification cases.
  • Support operational teams in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure cost and process efficiency by analysing production flows and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong interface with quality, audit, and sustainability functions.
  • Provide structured guidance and governance across cross-functional teams.
Candidate Profile
  • Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Textile, Materials, Chemical, or equivalent technical field).
  • Strong experience in process management, quality systems, compliance, or industrial operations.
  • Solid understanding of ISO standards, audits, and management systems.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments (textile, FMCG, chemicals, or industrial production preferred).
  • Strong ability to work with structured documentation, systems, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Comfortable reviewing, correcting, and formalising technical and operational documentation.
  • Leadership experience with multidisciplinary technical teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset, structured approach, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.
  • Bilingual French/Dutch required; English is an asset.
What makes this role unique

This is a process-critical leadership role at the heart of an industrial organisation.

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure operational stability through strong process governance
  • Build the backbone of compliance and audit readiness
  • Translate operational reality into structured, auditable systems
  • Work at the intersection of production, quality, and sustainability

Innovation remains a component of the wider ecosystem, but process excellence and management systems ownership are the primary focus of this position.

Offer
  • Strategic leadership role within a stable and internationally active industrial group
  • High level of autonomy and ownership over process governance
  • Long-term perspective with strong operational impact
  • Direct influence on quality, compliance, and industrial performance
  • Key position in shaping the company’s operational excellence framework
