Sibelco seeks a Director Corporate Tax for its Antwerp HQ to lead tax strategy across the group. You will develop and govern tax planning structures, oversee transfer pricing matters, and ensure robust governance and compliance in a multinational environment.

You will collaborate with regional finance teams, external advisors and the Treasury to align policies, documentation and risk management while maintaining regulatory obligations and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and implementing tax planning structures.
• Strong knowledge of transfer pricing and related documentation.
• Ability to manage complex tax matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Job Description:

• Propose, develop, implement, manage and safeguard tax planning structures
• Grasp business momentum to prepare and present robustly developed, ‘should opinion’ and/or advance ruling supported tax planning structures and, upon approval, manage and lead the implementation thereof in virtual teams
• Monitor existing tax planning structures on continued substance, benefit and compliance with law, opinions and advance rulings, if any, and prepare and present alternative structures with the same level of robustness if required
• Ensure Transfer Pricing arrangements in the Group are appropriately implemented
• Coordinate with regional sales teams to ensure required product TP policies are available and tax compliant; ensure master file documentation is available in Europe and liaise with BUs on local compliance; support other regions on documentation if required;
• Cooperate with Treasury on achieving arm’s length internal funding and ensure availability of documentation in all Group entities;
• Organize, improve if necessary and document yearly management fees in Europe; assist on management fee structuring and documentation in other regions
• Ensure any other item of Group transfer pricing (e.g., royalties) is covered from a methodology, policy and documentation angle dated and documented
