Coretecs is seeking a Digital OT Engineer to help plan and execute Industry 4.0 transformation journeys for manufacturing clients in Belgium.

You will connect machines, sensors and control systems to digital platforms, using OPC UA, MQTT and edge computing to enable data-driven decisions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial automation projects.
• Knowledge of OT/IT integration is a plus.
• Ability to design connectivity solutions between shop floor data and digital platforms.

As a Digital OT Engineer at Coretecs you will support companies within the Manufacturing and Process industry to plan and execute their Industry 4.0 Transformation Journeys. We believe we can help our customers reach the top by connecting machines, sensors and control systems to digital platforms, enabling data-driven decisions across the enterprise.

You will work on building the connectivity layer between OT and IT by using technologies such as OPC UA, MQTT, Unified Namespace and Edge Computing to collect and structure data from the shop floor, making it available for analytics, monitoring and optimization.

By combining your knowledge of industrial automation, networking and digital technologies you help our customers unlock the full potential of their production data and lay the foundation for smart manufacturing solutions.

You are passionate about bridging the gap between the production floor and the digital world. You understand how machines, sensors and industrial control systems generate valuable data, and you know how to make that data accessible for higher-level applications.

You enjoy designing and implementing connectivity solutions that bring real-time production data to life. Whether it's configuring industrial protocols, building Unified Namespace structures or deploying edge devices, you like working close to the technology while keeping the bigger Industry 4.0 picture in mind.

You take pride in helping manufacturing companies lay a solid digital foundation, enabling them to improve efficiency, gain insights, and move confidently towards smart manufacturing.
