MPL is seeking a proactive logistics forwarder in Antwerp to manage orders, transport, and documentation end-to-end. You will ensure timely updates to customers from booking to billing, while complying with transport regulations. A hazardous goods certification is a plus, and fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in forwarding and knowledge of transport regulations.
• Hazardous goods certification is a plus.
• Ability to handle forwarding documents efficiently.
• Willingness to learn steel logistics industry.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Demonstrates integrity, positivity and practical mindset.
• Good geographical knowledge of the region.
• Willingness to go the extra mile for customers.
• Autonomy and sound decision making under pressure.
• Proactive communication and ability to speak up in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilités

• Own the full journey for shipments: orders, transport, documentation, and follow-up of import/export files.
• Keep customers informed from booking through final billing.
• Anticipate issues, take ownership, and act with precision.
• Push for best outcomes for customers and maintain high service levels.
