Job summary

Agfa-Gevaert is seeking a passionate DevSecOps Engineer to join the R&D Radiology Solutions team. You will design and maintain automated build, test, integration, and delivery pipelines for our .NET-based MUSICA workstation, embedding security early in the lifecycle and generating SBOMs for third-party software components.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in software engineering, CS, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Strong affinity for software development, automation, infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and source-code management.
• Experience with scripting or programming and automating repetitive engineering tasks.
• Experience with containers, infrastructure automation, or cloud technologies is a plus.
• Experience in a regulated or medical-device environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve automated build, test, integration, and delivery pipelines for our software products.
• Embed security into the development lifecycle through automated vulnerability, dependency, code, and configuration checks.
• Automate the generation and maintenance of SBOMs and support vulnerability follow-up for third-party and open-source components.
• Work closely with software development, verification, cybersecurity, quality, and IT teams to make secure development practices practical and efficient.
• Improve developer environments, tooling, reproducible builds, release processes, and traceability of software deliverables.
• Monitor the health and security of the development and delivery infrastructure and help troubleshoot build, integration, and deployment issues.
• Promote automation, secure-by-design practices, and continuous improvement across the R&D organization.
• Maintain, support, and continuously improve the R&D development toolchain and infrastructure, including tools such as Sonatype Nexus, Jira, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Bitbucket, in close cooperation with the ICS organization.

We are looking for a passionate and driven DevSecOps Engineer to join our R&D team within Radiology Solutions. In this role, you will help build and improve the secure software delivery environment behind our next-generation medical imaging solutions. You will bring development, security, and operations together by automating build and delivery processes, integrating security checks early in development, and helping teams deliver software reliably and efficiently.

Your Role

• Design, maintain, and continuously improve automated build, test, integration, and delivery pipelines for our software products: the .NET-based MUSICA workstation,

Your Profile

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related technical field
• Strong affinity with software development, automation, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines and source-code management systems
• Experience with scripting or programming and an interest in automating repetitive engineering tasks
• Understanding of software supply-chain security, vulnerability management, and open-source software is an advantage
• Experience with containers, infrastructure automation, or cloud technologies is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and team spirit
