TJ Recla in Belgium is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to join their team. You will investigate and resolve complex application issues, delivering permanent fixes and workarounds to restore service quickly.

You will maintain performance, data integrity, and security across production and pre-production environments, applying data sanitization and anonymization where needed. The role requires strong scripting and IaC skills and a focus on change governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of the application and infrastructure stack including web servers, application logic, and scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of Java (JEE), PHP, .Net or other technologies/frameworks.
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) for basic querying, performance monitoring.
• Experience in component-based and service-oriented development or configuration.
• Understanding modelling languages or tools (e.g. UML).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring/observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI).

• Manage and execute seamless application releases and infrastructure changes using automated deployment tools to support strict change management and governance standards.
• Provision and adapt hybrid, cloud, and virtualized infrastructure components to continuously meet evolving operational and service needs.
• Automate repetitive tasks and system provisioning by writing scripts and leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and orchestration platforms.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications to standardize delivery pipelines, improve system scalability, and streamline rollback procedures.
