Job summary

Rhox in Belgium is seeking a Java/Angular developer to build IAM interfaces for self-service and delegated administration. You will design and implement both backend Java services and frontend Angular screens, enabling independent releases and efficient deployments.

You'll collaborate with analysts and the technical lead, write tests, refactor code, and participate in reviews. The role emphasizes clean code, test coverage, and strong documentation, with project work conducted in French.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building Java services and Angular screens.
• Strong knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot, JPA, and Spring Security.
• Hands-on with IAM APIs, REST and OpenAPI in SOA environments.
• Experience with relational DBs (DB2/MySQL) and DB migrations (Flyway).
• CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Maven, Git/GitLab, and Nexus; orchestration with Kubernetes.

We're looking for a Java/Angular developer to build standard identity and access management (IAM) interfaces for self-service and delegated administration. You'll develop separate backend and frontend components, allowing each side to be released independently.

What you'll do

• Design application components with functional analysts and the technical lead.
• Develop Java services and Angular screens.
• Write unit and integration tests for application functionality.
• Refactor existing code to improve readability, maintainability and performance.
• Review code with fellow developers.
• Prepare and validate releases across the project's different environments.

What you bring

• Java 25, JUnit and Mockito; experience with Java 21 and Java 8/JEE 7.
• Spring, Spring Boot, JPA and Spring Security.
• Angular 22, Angular Material and NgRx; experience with Angular 21.
• IAM APIs, REST and OpenAPI within a service-oriented architecture.
• DB2, MySQL and Flyway for database changes.
• CI/CD deployment using Docker, Apache Maven, Git/GitLab CI/CD and Nexus.
• Kubernetes and DataDog.
• Clean Code practices, attention to test coverage and technical debt reduction.
• Agile/SCRUM collaboration with functional analysts, testers and other developers.
• Ability to assess dependencies between new functionality and existing components.
• Clear technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the development team.
• Ability to flag technical difficulties and risks to the team lead.
• Native French, with all project work conducted in French.
