Hunter International, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to contribute to DCIS engineering projects and drive DevOps initiatives.

You will participate in design, development, and execution activities, supporting deployment automation, CI/CD, and system monitoring across enterprise environments, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring incident management processes are effective.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• ITIL Service Operation certification is preferred.
• Extensive experience with enterprise storage and virtualization technologies.

Description du poste

• A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience. Alternatively, exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post ;
• At least 5 years' experience supporting and implementing in deployable or large enterprise environments of c entralized storage systems based on FC, iSCSI, SAS or Hyper converged technology like vSAN ;
• At least 5 years' experience supporting and implementing in deployable or large enterprise environments of r ecent Virtualization Technologies based on VMWare ESXi and Virtual Centre .
• Formal ITIL Certification in Service Operation;
• COTS products (Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, VMWare VCP, Cisco CCDA, CCNA) ;
• Previous in-depth experience with Ansible configuration management and orchestration tool to manage Redhat Linux and Windows systems .

Duties/role:

• Providing professional and technical contributions to the design, development, and execution of DCIS engineering projects ;
• Contributing to and participating in a Development Operations (DevOps) environment using concepts such as continuous integration, continuous change management, deployment automation, and system monitoring ;
• Supporting junior staff with incident management, service request, and problem management processes as the senior engineer and ultimate problem solver.
