EngiFlex BV in Belgium is seeking a Data Functional Analyst to bridge business needs and technical delivery for data services. You will work in an agile team with data engineers, BI experts, project managers, data architects and data quality specialists.

You will collect requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and define conceptual and logical data models. You will coordinate with the DPO for GDPR and ensure testing and user adoption.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent level.
• At least 5 years of professional data functional analysis experience.
• Kimball data warehouse modelling experience.
• Experience in designing and analysing data flows.
• 3+ years with the Microsoft on-premises stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI).
• Strong data modelling skills (conceptual/logical).
• Previous data engineering experience is a plus.
• Experience with Azure Databricks is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead discussions with business SMEs to understand data needs.
• Identify and document business processes and data flows.
• Translate business needs into data and technical requirements.
• Design and validate data models with Data Architects.
• Define functional designs with Data Governance, BI Leads and ICT teams.
• Coordinate with the DPO for GDPR and security compliance.
• Ensure testing of developed data products.
• Inform and train business users and foster adoption.
