V-IT NV is seeking a Full Stack Data Platform Engineer to design and operate cloud-native data platforms. You will automate infrastructure, implement IaC with Terraform, and manage Snowflake resources, IAM, and Kubernetes deployments.

Ideal candidates bring strong Python, Shell scripting, and Git skills, plus experience building CI/CD pipelines and operating in an AWS/Kubernetes environment. Collaboration across teams is essential for governance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Solid Kubernetes (K8s) and EKS experience for deploying and operating containers.

Full Stack Data Platform Engineer

The ideal candidate is passionate about building and operating cloud-native data platforms, with a strong engineering mindset and hands-on experience across infrastructure, automation, and software development.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation, tooling, and platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Deep understanding of the AWS ecosystem, including networking, IAM, compute, storage, and other core cloud services.
• Solid experience with Kubernetes (Kubernetes/K8s) and Amazon EKS, including deploying, operating, and troubleshooting containerized applications.
• Proficiency with Git (preferably Bitbucket) and experience designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of Snowflake administration, including its security model, role-based access control (RBAC), privileges, resource hierarchy, and object lifecycle management.
• Experience provisioning and managing Snowflake resources using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), with an understanding of automated environment provisioning, permission management, and platform governance.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, code reviews, testing, automation, and operational excellence.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud-native data platforms, DevOps practices, and platform engineering.
