Akkodis is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary engineering team. You will design, develop, and optimize modern data platforms supporting analytics, automation, and ML initiatives in a high-tech environment.

Collaborate with engineers, software developers, and data specialists to build scalable data solutions that improve efficiency, product performance, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Docker.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and large-scale data processing solutions.
• Good understanding of databases, data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and software testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Jupyter, Apache Superset, Dagster.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of modern data platforms that support advanced analytics, automation, and machine learning initiatives.

You will work closely with engineers, software developers, and data specialists to build scalable data solutions that help improve operational efficiency, product performance, and data-driven decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in a high-tech environment while growing your expertise in data engineering, cloud-native technologies, and AI-related applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, validate, and maintain robust data pipelines and data architectures. Build scalable and efficient data models, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and performance.
• Set up, manage, and optimize databases, data lakes, and other data storage solutions.
• Develop data workflows to support machine learning, analytics, and advanced data processing initiatives.
• Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor and improve data platform performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to best practices in software development, testing, automation, and data engineering.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high standards of quality and delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.Proven experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Docker.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and large-scale data processing solutions.
• Good understanding of databases, data lakes, data warehouses, and modern data architectures.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and software testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of development and data engineering tools such as:
• Jenkins
• Jupyter
• Apache Superset
• Dagster
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubeflow or MLOps platforms.
• Knowledge of data warehousing technologies.
• Familiarity with MATLAB testing environments.
• Additional experience in software engineering, front-end development, or DevOps practices.
• Interest in open-source technologies and on-premises infrastructures.
