Xintas is seeking an external experienced data integration engineer / integration layer developer in Belgium to join a foundational data product factory team. You will design and implement data management solutions and ensure alignment between business and technical needs.

Bring 5+ years in .NET/Microsoft platforms, REST/SOAP/GraphQL, data integrations, testing, and cross-functional collaboration in English; include production support and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with .NET/Microsoft platform.
• Hands-on experience with audit/trace frameworks and monitoring tools.
• Proficient in REST, SOAP, XML, GraphQL and messaging/streaming.
• Data-centric approach and product-oriented mindset.
• Administer tools in mixed Windows/Unix environments; English for external meetings.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement data management solutions (data quality tooling, master data management).
• Align business/technical architecture with functional and non-functional needs.
• Apply data platform best practices and ensure performance and trust.
• Contribute to the chapter maturity and provide team-level expertise.
• Support production in second and third line and participate in documentation setup.

Description du poste

Our client is looking for an external experienced data integration engineer / integration layer developer. This position is in one of their foundational teams creating and maintaining the data product factory.

Tasks

• Design and implementation of solutions for effective data management (like data quality tooling, master data management, …)
• Ensure the alignment between the business/technical architecture and the functional/non-functional needs of the clients
• Bring concrete experience in terms of best practice in the data management concepts and provisioning of data platform solutions
• Guarantee performance and trust in the solution by participating to the set up and following of a continuous build and testing platform
• Collaborating with the (sub) chapter lead to contribute in the maturity development of the chapter
• Bring technical expertise to the team as well as infrastructure knowledge of tools used in the data platform (open data soft, queue manager, distributed cache, audit and monitoring)
• Participate in the setup of an efficient and dynamic documentation solution
• Second and third line support for production

Requirements

Technical Skills (required)

• Experience in .Net/Microsoft platform (5+ years)
• Audit and Trace framework experience (3+ years)
• Efficient monitoring tools experience (3+ years)
• Web Services (REST, SOAP), XML, Flat Files, GraphQL, Messaging-/Steaming based communication
• Experience with a data centric approach and working in a product organization
• Capabilities to help in the administration of the tools used (mixed environment Windows and Unix)
• Supplier and procurement documentation and meetings with external parties will be in English. Knowledge of this language is mandatory
• Theoretical knowledge of and practical experience with distributed architecture patterns (synchronous & asynchronous)
• Distributed cache patterns (Concepts and practical experience)
• Practical experience in the usage of Messaging and/or Event Streaming solutions
• Practical experience in the development of a data integration layer
• Automated Unit Testing and Integration Testing
• Working within a team of skilled developers
• Ability to translate from high level concepts and capability descriptions into implementable components and features
• Willingness to learn and support beyond the main profile (e.g. doing Data engineering tasks)
• Curious about new technologies, processes and approaches
• Team player; "able to think outside the box"
• Open and continuous improvement mindset
• Solution-oriented, able to work independently as well as in a cross-functional and self-organizing team
