TiTans Consulting in Belgium is seeking a Data Governance Expert to define the mission, objectives and strategy for the data governance stream. You will lead a team of data governance experts and data quality analysts to achieve stream objectives.

In this role you will collaborate with senior management to implement enterprise data governance, quality and regulatory frameworks, ensuring data policies and compliance across the organization.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (stats, math or engineering). PhD is a plus.
• Candidates with other backgrounds with analytics knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Define the mission, objectives and strategy of the data governance stream.
• Lead a team of data governance experts and data quality analysts to achieve stream objectives.
• Manage organization-wide data governance, quality and regulatory activities with other CoE managers and Senior Management.
• Establish and ensure adherence to enterprise data governance, quality, modeling and regulation frameworks for data policies and standards.
• Serve as escalation point for governance, quality, integrity, protection and data compliance issues.
• Work with business and functional area leadership to improve the quality and value of core data assets.

Data Governance Expert

Mission context

The CoE Data governance focuses on different but complementary streams :

• Data Regulatory and Privacy
• Data Governance tools
• Data Quality

Function description

The data governance manager primary focus is :

• Define the mission, objectives and strategy of the stream he/she is responsible for.
• Lead a team of data governance experts and/or data quality analysts to achieve his/her stream objectives
• Manage together with the other CoE managers and Senior Management, all organization wide data governance, quality and regulations activities
• Establish and ensure adherence to the enterprise data governance, quality, modeling and regulation frameworks for data policies, standards and practices, both at the data, business and tribe level, to achieve the required level of data quality integrity, protection and compliance with the regulation
• Serve as a point of escalation for governance, quality, integrity, protection and data compliance issues
• Work closely with Business and Functional area leadership to improve the quality and value of core data assets

Language requirements

• Fluent and Dutch or French

Education

You have at least a Masterns degree in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, mathematics or engineering (a PhD is considered an advantage).
Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to apply.
