DESOTEC in Belgium seeks a Data Engineer to build and maintain the data ecosystem, develop scalable data solutions, ensure data availability, and transform data into actionable insights.

You will work with Azure Data Platform technologies, Data Lakes, ETL/ELT processes and Power BI to deliver reliable, scalable reporting across the organization. Collaboration with IT and business stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data/IT/engineering or related field.
• Solid experience as a Data Engineer or similar data-focused role with modern data platforms.
• Strong SQL expertise and ability to design and optimize data solutions.
• Hands-on with Azure Data Platform technologies, Data Lakes, ETL/ELT and data modeling.
• Familiar with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric and scalable reporting principles.
