OneSource Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer to design and develop data pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources, and prepare data for analytics and reporting. You will work with relational databases and data models, ensuring data quality and performance, and collaborate on APIs and data integrations.

Experience with AI/ML data pipelines is a plus. The role requires strong SQL, data modelling, and hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, and programming in Python, Java, or Scala.

Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities

Looking for a Data Engineer with strong SQL, databases, data modelling and ETL/data pipeline experience. Python/Java/Scala or similar is fine. You should have worked on moving, transforming and integrating data between systems. Experience with AI/ML technologies/models in a data engineering or data management context.

As a Data Engineer you will:

• Design and develop data pipelines.
• Integrate data from different systems and sources.
• Transform, clean and prepare data for applications, reporting and analytics.
• Work with relational databases and data models and design database structures, relationships and data flows.
• Support data migrations and database changes and ensure data quality, reliability and performance.
• Work with technical teams on APIs and application/data integrations.
• Support deployment and operation of data-processing components.
• Work with AI/ML-related data pipelines and datasets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Proven Data Engineering experience and strong SQL.
• Experience building ETL/ELT or other data pipelines.
• Experience with relational databases and data modelling.
• Programming/scripting experience, commonly Python, Java, Scala or similar.
• Experience with modern data-processing or orchestration tools is useful.
