Your Role at Yuki – Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer you will build and own the data foundation on which everything else stands. You will bring source data reliably into Snowflake, shape it on Databricks, and ensure data scientists have trustworthy data.

• Data integrations – Get source data into the platform reliably.
• Landing & processing – Ingest and organize source data in Snowflake, with operational processing and serving on Databricks (bronze, silver, gold).
• Scale & infrastructure – Run efficient Spark jobs, build IaC with Terraform, own CI/CD, and respond to pipeline failures.
• Product telemetry – Instrument in‑product usage data with Mixpanel, Pendo, and Segment.
• Co‑create – Partner with data scientists and innovation team to adjust pipelines as features and use cases evolve.

Job Requirements

• 3–4 years of strong data engineering experience, ideally in a product company or SaaS.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, Databricks, Snowflake, Apache Spark, Terraform (IaC), Azure DevOps.
• Experience building pipelines, monitoring them, owning quality, and managing schema with Medallion architecture.
• Proactive and self‑driven: you have shipped, monitored, and learned from failures, not just executed tickets.
• Nice to have: AWS Bedrock, ML‑adjacent work, financial‑data exposure.
• Fluent English is a must.
