Koda Tech is seeking an experienced Data Architect to shape enterprise data architecture in Brussels and drive a Data Mesh-driven strategy. You will design scalable data platforms, govern data architecture, and collaborate with analytics, engineering, and product teams to deliver value.

The role requires expertise in data modeling, data integration, and modern data platforms, with strong communication skills and fluency in English and Dutch or French. Brussels-based, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or Solution Architect.
• Strong background in data integration, API-led and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in data modelling, including conceptual and logical models.
• Experience with Data Mesh, Data Lakes, MDM, or modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
• Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Microservices.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English and Dutch and/or French.

We're looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a leading organisation in Brussels. You'll play a key role in shaping enterprise data architecture, supporting a Data Mesh-driven strategy, and designing scalable solutions that align business objectives with modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern solution and data architecture across strategic initiatives.
• Design data integration, application, and data platform solutions.
• Support Data Product Teams in defining domains and data products.
• Develop data models, architecture standards, and governance practices.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Drive architecture reviews, PoCs, and technology evaluations.

Requirements
