Sopra Steria Group is seeking a Data & AI Governance Consultant to join their multidisciplinary team in Brussels. The role involves implementing and operationalizing data governance strategies for clients, ensuring responsible data use.

You will become part of a multidisciplinary team where data engineering, architecture, AI, analytics, governance and visualization come together. Together, we help clients get more value out of their data: from setting up the right data foundations to building dashboards, analytics solutions and AI use cases that support better decisions.
As a Data & AI Governance Consultant you play an active role in helping our clients implement and operationalize their data & AI governance strategy. You support organizations in building a mature, data‑driven culture and in translating the governance strategy into measurable objectives.
You participate in the design and continuous improvement of policies that enhance quality and completeness of data across the organization. This includes defining and implementing clear rules, standards and processes that ensure that data is managed and consumed responsibly and efficiently.
You guide clients in creating an unambiguous conceptual framework and information model, laying out the foundation for reliable and trusted data use.
You will have the opportunity to define and implement governance processes tailored to each client’s maturity and needs, including data quality frameworks and stewardship models. Together with our existing team of data & AI governance experts, you keep our colleagues up to date with emerging market trends and best practices.
In addition to data governance, you take an active role in designing and implementing AI governance frameworks that ensure responsible, transparent, and safe use of AI across the organization, integrated with the data governance policies. Your guidance enables organizations to innovate confidently with AI while maintaining full oversight and compliance.
