Job summary

Devoteam seeks a Data, AI & Cloud Strategist to define and drive enterprise data, cloud, and AI strategies for leading organizations. You will advise senior executives, guiding clients through strategic digital transformations from initial strategy to high-impact implementation.

You will help expand Devoteam’s strategic footprint, shape go-to-market offerings, and lead high-value engagements while staying ahead of trends in generative AI and cloud ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in management consulting, tech strategy, or AI transformation.
• Experience leading large data/AI programs for enterprises.
• Fluency in Dutch/French and good English.

• Strategy & Value Realization: Define and drive enterprise data, cloud, and AI strategies for clients.
• Executive Advisory & Relationship Management: Act as a primary trusted advisor to C-level and board stakeholders on data governance, cloud migration, AI adoption, and digital transformation.
• Delivery & Transformation Oversight: Oversee shaping, management and delivery of large data/AI transformation programs.
• Business Development & Go-To-Market: Shape offerings, identify opportunities, and guide high-value advisory engagements.
• Thought Leadership & Practice Growth: Contribute to thought leadership and represent the firm at industry events.

Job Description

As a Data, AI & Cloud Strategist at Devoteam, you will define and drive enterprise-grade data, cloud, and AI strategies for leading organizations. Operating at the intersection of business value and cutting-edge technology, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, guiding clients through complex digital transformations from initial strategy to high-impact implementation. You will play a pivotal role in expanding Devoteam’s strategic footprint, shaping go-to-market offerings, and leading high-value engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Value Realization: Define and drive enterprise data, cloud, and AI strategies for clients. Align technology roadmaps with core business objectives, perform maturity assessments, and establish robust value cases.
• Executive Advisory & Relationship Management: Act as a primary, trusted advisor to C-level and board stakeholders on data governance, cloud migration, AI adoption, generative AI, and broader digital transformation. Build and maintain a strong senior client network across key sectors.
• Delivery & Transformation Oversight: Oversee the shaping, management, and quality delivery of large, complex data and AI transformation programs, ensuring measurable business impact and follow-up.
• Business Development & Go-To-Market: Shape go-to-market offerings, value propositions, and innovative methodologies. Identify strategic opportunities and contribute to originating/guiding/owning and closing significant consulting engagements.
• Thought Leadership & Practice Growth: Contribute to and author thought leadership that positions Devoteam as a market leader in data, cloud, and AI strategy. Represent the firm at industry events and stay ahead of emerging tech trends and best practices.

Skills & Expertise

• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of technology and data strategy, data governance, cloud ecosystems, and AI/ML adoption frameworks (including generative AI and LLM ecosystems).
• Technology Acumen: Broad proficiency across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), MLOps, enterprise modern data platforms, data analytics, and automation tools.
• Executive Presence & Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business value narratives for executive and board audiences.
• Methodologies & Problem Solving: Mastery of digital transformation frameworks (Lean, Agile, Design Thinking) combined with strong analytical skills to structure ambiguous strategic challenges.
• Change Management: Expertise in guiding complex organizations through the cultural and operational shifts required for data-driven and AI-driven transformation.

Experience & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• Professional Background: minimum 8 years of experience in management consulting, technology strategy, data strategy, or AI transformation, ideally gained within a top-tier strategy or technology consultancy.
• Track Record: Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale data, cloud or AI transformation programs for enterprise clients across industries (e.g., financial services, manufacturing, public sector, retail).
• Commercial Drive: Proven ability to identify business opportunities, shape client pursuits, and support high-value advisory sales engagements
• Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch/French and good knowledge of English .
