Joris Ide is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to own security operations, engineering and compliance across Europe. You will liaise with our external SOC, internal IT teams and partners, triage incidents and tune detection rules while improving security tooling such as Google Chronicle, CrowdStrike, Qualys and Umbrella.

You will lead vulnerability management and OT cybersecurity efforts, develop dashboards and KPI reporting, and contribute to risk assessments and audits as we move toward ISO

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
• Hands-on experience in an operational IT environment.
• Strong IT infrastructure knowledge (networks, servers, virtualization, cloud).
• Experience with SIEM and EDR/XDR solutions.
• Familiarity with incident response, detection and monitoring.
• ITIL familiarity and ability to communicate with stakeholders.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsabilités

• Support the Head of IT Infrastructure in cybersecurity vision and strategy.
• Act as primary contact for external SOC, escalating alerts and incidents.
• Triage, validate and coordinate incident response with internal teams.
• Improve detection quality by tuning rules and reducing false positives.
• Manage and optimize security tooling (Google Chronicle, CrowdStrike, Qualys, Umbrella).
• Lead vulnerability management and OT cybersecurity initiatives.
• Automate SOC workflows and reporting; develop dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Support risk assessments, audits and ISO 27001 roadmap.
• Document policies and post-incident analyses; participate in tabletop exercises.
• Stay updated on trends and propose continuous improvements.
