Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support vulnerability management and the expansion of attack surface management services in Brussels. The role blends technical work with operational focus to strengthen digital security across entities. Hybrid work, start 01/10/2026, 9 months, full-time.

You will automate data collection with Python, prioritize findings, and provide remediation guidance to stakeholders while running phishing simulations and enhancing governance processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Cybersecurity Analyst focused on vulnerability management and risk prioritization.
• 3+ years with vulnerability scanning and exposure management solutions.
• 3+ years as Security Consultant in data, infrastructure, or applications.
• Proficient in Python scripting for API integrations and data processing.
• Experience documenting security governance and processes.
• Expertise in Privileged Access Management or encryption solutions.
• Able to translate technical findings for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Jira or ServiceNow for remediation tracking.
• Proactive, solution-oriented with a focus on operational excellence.
• Dutch language fluent at C2 level.

Responsabilités

• Analyze vulnerabilities and exposures from diverse sources and validate findings.
• Prioritize findings using CVSS, EPSS, and exploitation status.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts and API integrations to automate data collection, enrichment, and reporting.
• Provide remediation guidance to stakeholders.
• Execute cyber awareness initiatives and phishing simulations.
• Contribute to documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement of security processes and governance.
