Infinity Quest is seeking a seasoned IT security & infrastructure professional to oversee cross‑platform administration, cloud deployments with IaC, and security integration across CI/CD pipelines. You will automate deployments, ensure secure configurations, and manage critical tooling across a hybrid environment.

Ideal candidates possess extensive certs, strong scripting skills, and experience with vulnerability management and SIEM. English fluency at C1 is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of post-secondary education and 10+ years IT experience, with 5+ years in relevant role.
• Deep expertise in Linux, Windows, and VMware ESXi server administration.
• Strong programming and scripting for automation and secure software development (Python, Bash, Java, Go, or Rust).
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, network protocols, encryption standards, authentication and secure comms.
• Experience deploying, managing, securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OVH) with IaC (Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD security controls.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanners (Rapid7 Nexpose, Nessus), SIEM (Splunk), and ticketing (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Cybersecurity knowledge, cyber intel, vulnerability management and assessment methodologies.
• Experience integrating APIs across technologies and messaging platforms (Kafka, SQS, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ).
• Ability to work across hybrid cloud, containerized apps (Docker, Kubernetes), and evolving cyber threats.
• Capacity to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Certifications: at least one cybersecurity and one engineering/incidence response/architecture related certs are mandatory.
• English proficiency at C1, French an asset.

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Post-secondary education of at least 2 years and a minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years of experience relevant to this position.
• Deep expertise in Linux, Windows, and VMware ESXi server administration and management.
• Strong programming and scripting skills for automation, secure software development, data parsing, API integration, and workflow automation and Experience with Python, Bash, Java, Go, or Rust is considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, network protocols, encryption standards, authentication protocols, and secure communication techniques.
• Experience deploying, managing, and securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OVH), including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and the integration of security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise vulnerability scanners (Rapid7 Nexpose, Nessus), SIEM platforms (Splunk), and ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, cyber intelligence, vulnerability management, and security assessment methodologies.
• Experience implementing integrations across multiple technologies using APIs and familiarity with message broker platforms such as Apache Kafka, AWS SQS, Google Pub/Sub, and RabbitMQ.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies in hybrid cloud environments, containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes), and emerging cyber threats.
• Capacity to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Certifications: At least one cybersecurity certification and one certification in engineering, incident response, architecture, cybersecurity solution design and implementation, governance, product-specific technologies, programming languages, or another equivalent discipline (subject to approval by the Contracting Authority) are mandatory.
• Ability to understand, speak, and write English at a C1 level.
• Knowledge of French and other EU languages will be considered an asset.
