TVH Group in Waregem is seeking a temporary Customs & Trade Compliance Advisor to oversee the correct application, monitoring and oversight of customs legislation and trade regulations within our international operations.

You will advise across departments on import/export requirements, tariff classification, rules of origin and export controls, and you'll deliver training on compliance while monitoring changes in trade law affecting TVH's business.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree or equivalent by experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in customs & trade compliance.

Responsabilidades

• You will be responsible for the correct application, monitoring, and oversight of customs legislation and trade regulations.
• You act as a trusted internal advisor to various departments on customs matters, import/export requirements, and trade compliance risks.
• You analyze existing operational processes to identify risks, optimize procedures, and drive continuous efficiency improvements.
• You advise on product tariff classification, manage rules of origin and preferential trade agreements, and perform export control and sanctions screenings.
• You develop and deliver training to internal stakeholders on customs compliance procedures and best practices.
• You monitor changes in international trade legislation and assess their impact on our business operations.
• You support internal audits, assist with customs authority inquiries, and help maintain required customs authorizations and licenses.
