Oil & Gas Equipment/O&G Hardware is seeking a dynamic, customer-oriented Sales Associate for our hardware store. This part-time role requires weekend work, hardware knowledge, and the ability to assist customers, process transactions, and maintain a clean, organized shop.

You will greet customers, advise on tools and building materials, handle POS, restock shelves, and uphold safety standards. No formal degree required; high school diploma preferred; prior retail experience helps.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred, but not required.
• Experience in a retail sales role is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of hardware products and how to use them effectively.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and assess hardware needs, offering informed recommendations.
• Learn and explain inventory across tools, building materials, plumbing, electrical items.
• Upsell products and accessories to match customer projects.
• Maintain organized shelves, restock merchandise, and keep the store clean.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Handle returns and exchanges per store policy.
• Assist with inventory counts and notify when stock is low.
• Address inquiries, complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote safety and proper handling of equipment.
