Atlas Copco Group in Antwerp, Belgium, is looking for a data scientist to join our data mining team. You will analyze connectivity data, build models, and support product design and decision making across engineering and services.

You will work with Python (PySpark) and SQL, explore cloud-enabled data, and develop insights that improve machine quality, performance, and reporting tools. Knowledge of Matlab, Power Query, and PowerBI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related technical or scientific field.
• Programming in Python (PySpark) and SQL is a must, basic knowledge of other programming languages is required
• Experience in cloud computing, data analysis and signal processing is required
• Notion of version control system, database structures and modeling techniques
• Knowledge of Matlab, Power query and PowerBI is a plus

Responsabilités

• Support other teams with data analyses skills focusing on connectivity data.
• Collaborate with product development teams and service division to improve products, processes or reporting tools.
• Identify correlations and insights to enhance machine performance and reliability.
