ALLNEX in Belgium seeks a skilled Application Technician to support planning and execution of experiments, manufacture composite parts, and set up machine parameters. You will work closely with the team of chemists and engineers to develop advanced composite materials.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and have strong experience in composite manufacturing, material testing, and precise documentation. Fluency in English plus French or Dutch is preferred.

• Strong experience in planning and executing experiments with composite materials.
• Experience in manufacturing composite parts and mechanical testing.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and executing experiments related to composite materials and mechanical testing.
• Manufacture composite parts using various processing techniques.
• Set up and calibrate machines and equipment for testing and manufacturing processes.
• Prepare materials for testing and processing, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
• Conduct mechanical tests (tensile, compression, flexural) and report results accurately.
• Record and document experimental data, test results, and machine settings to maintain records.
• Analyse test results and propose improvements for process optimization.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with chemists and engineers to troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Stay updated with industry trends and contribute ideas for improvements.
