BMW Group Belux is seeking a Compliance Expert to help develop and maintain the local Compliance Management System. You will align processes with external laws and BMW requirements while fostering a strong compliance culture across the organisation.

In this role you will implement the local system, advise on antitrust, corruption, AML, export control, and work with internal stakeholders, BMW Group HQ and other entities to translate legislation into practical procedures.

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in compliance or regulatory roles.
• Autonomous yet collaborative team player.
• Strong communication: convey complex messages clearly and constructively.
• Proactive, structured and well-organised working approach.
• High sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Dutch, French and English.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement and continuously enhance the local Compliance Management System in line with internal BMW Group standards and external legal requirements.
• Ensure business processes and activities comply with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies, reporting to the Legal & Compliance Manager.
• Act as the internal point of contact for key compliance domains, including antitrust compliance, corruption prevention, fraud prevention,export control compliance and AML.
• Monitor and translate relevant legislation and BMW Group regulations into practical local procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, BMW Group headquarters and other group entities.
• Strengthen compliance maturity and culture through risk assessments, control plans, spot checks and reporting.
• Advise, coach and train employees on compliance topics, tools and methodologies.

As a Compliance Expert within the Legal & Compliance team at BMW Group Belux, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining an effective local Compliance Management System. You will ensure that our processes and activities are fully aligned with both external legislation and internal BMW Group compliance requirements, while contributing to a strong compliance culture across the organisation.

What should you bring along?

• At least three years of professional experience, preferably in a similar compliance or regulatory role and a master degree.

• A high sense of responsibility and ownership towards your tasks and results
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in Dutch, French and English
