Job summary

SEC Newgate EU, Brussels-based advocacy and communications consultancy, is seeking a Communications Consultant to join our team. You will support clients across sectors, develop and implement PR plans, manage social and digital media, and design creative campaigns to drive business growth.

You will draft content for online and offline use, prepare analytics reports, and contribute to events and marketing activities while collaborating with international teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant professional communications experience, preferably in a consultancy.
• (a) Excellent communication skills and robust knowledge of social and digital media
• (c) Ability to write clearly, creatively and concisely and display strong presentation skills.
• (d) Understanding of the European public relations and digital landscape.
• (e) Excellent computer skills and a basic understanding of online design tools (e.g. Canva). Knowledge of Adobe suite and video editing a bonus.
• (f) Solid organisational and project management skills.
• (g) Ability to work autonomously and with flexibility.
• (h) Strong sense of client service.
• (i) Excellent written and spoken English.
• (j) Additional European languages are an asset.

SEC Newgate EU is a Brussels-based advocacy and communications consultancy with a global presence as part of the SEC Newgate Group; we are currently looking for a Communications Consultant to join our team.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented communications consultant with a passion for storytelling, a creative strategic mind and an understanding of the power of social and digital media to drive business growth.

The successful applicant will be a part of our communications teams, supporting clients across sectors, developing and implementing PR plans, managing social and digital media platforms, designing creative campaigns, preparing analytics reports and drafting content for online and offline use.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement communication plans and multi-channel campaigns.
• Draft quality materials including newsletters, articles, speaking points and toolkits.
• Support creative social and digital campaigns in line with client’s objectives.
• Set up, maintain and enhance social and digital channels – including regular strategic reviews of digital performance (analytics), and preparing editorial calendars, community management, digital organic and paid campaigns.
• Conduct research and media monitoring to support effective communications and business development, including the management, monitoring and reporting tools.
• Keep up with the latest social media/online trends.
• Support in the organisation of events and marketing activities.

ABOUT YOU

Experience
