Sander Brussels is seeking a Commercial Controller to provide financial insights for the commercial teams in the Diegem region. You will partner with Sales, Marketing and Management to support pricing, profitability and product development, enabling data-driven decisions.

The role covers monthly close, budgeting and forecasting for commercial activities, plus KPI analysis, profitability reviews and cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• First relevant experience in controlling, business analysis, commercial finance or audit.
• Experience in FMCG/retail or fast-paced environments is an advantage.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP/reporting tools is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Manage the monthly close, budgeting and forecasting processes for the commercial activities.
• Analyse financial and commercial performance and translate figures into actionable recommendations.
• Monitor key KPIs, sales performance, costs, margins and profitability.
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Customer Service and Management.
• Provide financial guidance on commercial initiatives, promotions and marketing investments.
• Prepare and challenge business cases linked to new products and strategic initiatives.
• Support product launches and innovation projects from a financial perspective.
• Perform cost price and margin analyses and assess their impact on profitability.
• Contribute to process improvements and internal controls.
• Support finance-related projects involving commercial operations and the supply chain.

Experience

You have a first relevant experience in controlling, business analysis, commercial finance or audit and are ready to take on a broader business-partnering position. Experience within FMCG, retail, consumer goods or another fast-paced environment is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Languages

You communicate fluently in Dutch and French and have a good professional command of English.

Qualifications

You hold a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, Business Administration or a related field, with strong Excel skills; experience with SAP or similar ERP/reporting tools is an asset.
