SecWise in Belgium seeks an Operations Lead to co-lead the Services Tribe, owning service delivery, customer success, people leadership, and operational excellence with direct line to Managing Partners.

You will coach L1/L2 Analysts, own SOC delivery across customers, drive process improvements, act as Incident Manager during major incidents, and mentor the team as SecWise scales.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with leadership
• Hands-on expertise in threat hunting, digital forensics, and incident response
• Led major incidents as Incident Manager
• People leadership: coaching and developing others
• Pragmatic, hands-on, action-oriented
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Experience with MSSP or multi-customer SOC is a plus

SecWise is a fast-growing Belgian cybersecurity scale-up. Our Services Tribe runs a managed SOC for a growing customer base and is jointly led by two Co-Tribe Leads: one for Engineering, one for Operations. The Operations seat is yours.

This isn't a team lead role attached to a shift schedule. As Operations Lead, you co-lead the tribe with real ownership: service delivery, customer success, people leadership, and operational excellence, with a direct line to the Managing Partners.

What you'll do

• Lead and coach our L1 and L2 Security Analysts.
• Own the delivery and quality of our SOC services across all customers.
• Drive improvements in SOC processes, workflows, and runbooks.
• Act as Incident Manager during major security incidents.
• Handle complex customer escalations and participate in Steercos and security reviews.
• Build our threat hunting and forensics capabilities, both through hands-on expertise and by mentoring the team.
• Co-lead the Services Tribe, including capacity planning, people management, and OKRs, together with the Engineering Co-Tribe Lead.
• Report directly to the Managing Partners.

Who you are

• You have 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, including a leadership role.
• You bring hands-on expertise in threat hunting, digital forensics, and incident response.
• You've led major incidents as Incident Manager.
• You're a people leader who enjoys coaching and developing others.
• You're pragmatic, hands-on, and action-oriented.
• You're fluent in Dutch and English.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and KQL is a plus.
• MSSP or multi-customer SOC experience is a plus.
