A leading IT consultancy in Belgium is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to review and enhance network configurations within Azure Cloud. This role focuses on ensuring that Azure DNS complies with security standards and best practices. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in TCP/IP, VLAN, and Azure networking, with experience in managing Azure and Fortigate firewalls. Knowledge of automation tools like PowerShell and Terraform is a plus. Join a dynamic team making significant contributions to cloud network security.

Qualifications

• Proven mastery of TCP/IP, VLAN, and routing.
• Experience managing Azure and Fortigate firewalls, including WAF.
• Strong background in Azure networks (VNet, NSG, peering).
• Knowledge of network security best practices, including Zero Trust.

Responsabilités

• Review all the 'Network' technical configuration in Azure Cloud.
• Ensure Azure DNS is compliant with security standards and best practices.
• Implement automation improvements in network management.

For a client we are looking for a Cloud Network Engineer.

Scope:

Review all the ‘Network’ technical configuration of our Azure Cloud: With as first mission: to make our Azure DNS compliant at the security level and best practices (in view of improvement at the automation level).

Profile

• Mastery of TCP/IP, VLAN, routing
• Azure and Fortigate firewalls management (including WAF)
• Azure networks: VNet, NSG, peering
  • Good knowledge of VPN Gateway, Application Gateway/Front Door, Private link
  • Excellent knowledge of Azure DNS (Private Resolvers) + OnPrem DNS
• Network security and best practices (including Zero Trust and Entra integration)
• Mastery of OnPrem/Cloud hybrid environments

Nice-to-have:

• Automation (PowerShell, Terraform)
• Load balancing
• Secure tools: Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure policy
• Certifs (Microsoft AZ-700 (Azure Network Engineer), CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet)
• Knowledge in Zscaler and Infoblox
