itsme® is seeking a Cloud & System Engineer to help implement data features, build a robust datalake, and keep systems stable. You will work with databases, databricks, and BI data pipelines, collaborating with developers to integrate updates smoothly.

You will be instrumental in Itsme's expansion in Belgium and Europe, maintaining security standards while automating infrastructure and deployments in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong SQL skills with query optimization and schema design.
• Experience with distributed data processing (Spark/PySpark).
• Knowledge of data platforms, datalake, and BI data pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Assist developers with database setups and structure to maintain integrity and performance.
• Troubleshoot database performance issues and plan long-term improvements.
• Set up and maintain a new data platform based on Databricks.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management in a public cloud; implement IaC via Terraform.
• Implement security standards (NIST/OWASP) across stacks.
• Manage incidents and root-cause analysis for failures.
• Increase team knowledge of databases and datalake concepts.
• Automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
