Jan De Nul Group seeks a Project Cost Controller to oversee financial processes across civil projects in Flanders. You’ll monitor costs, prepare forecasts, and report on budget performance to support project success across East and West Flanders.

You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in economics or accountancy with initial experience in controlling or auditing, and you communicate clearly in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an economic field (Applied Economics, Business Engineering or Business Administration) or a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Initial relevant work experience in controlling, accounting, or an audit environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Preparing budget control and financial reporting for the assigned construction sites and compiling forecasts.
• Monitoring all costs and revenues of the assigned projects and preparing result reports.
• Taking responsibility for the monthly accuracy of figures and making adjustments where necessary.
• Reporting regularly to management to enable timely steering towards financial and strategic objectives.
• Providing project managers and site managers with insight into current and future financial results, and offering support for financial issues.
• Staying up to date with evolutions in controlling and contributing ideas to strengthen the team.
